Showwcase is the social network purpose-built for developers. We joined as their design partner, helping expand their feature set massively and create a new visual language for both the brand and their product. We worked with Showwcase for two years.
Mobile App
Splash & Sign Up / Login
First contact with the product. We designed the splash screen and the full sign-up and login flow to get developers into Showwcase quickly, cleanly, and fast, with no unnecessary friction between interest and access.
Feed & Feed Onboarding
The home feed is where the community lives. We designed the feed to surface threads, shows, and activity from the people and communities a developer follows, and the onboarding flow that helps new users calibrate it from the start.
Thread Composer
Threads are how developers start conversations: questions, ideas, code snippets, polls. We designed the composer to make starting a thread fast and flexible, with support for multiple content types in a single flow.
Profiles
A developer's profile is their front page to the tech world. We designed profiles to surface what matters: work, shows, communities, and contributions in a format that's personal without being a CV.
Discover / Search
Finding people, communities, and content worth following. We designed Discover and Search to make the breadth of Showwcase navigable by interest, technology, or name without overwhelming users with noise.
Shows
Shows are how developers share their work blogs, products, articles, and projects. We designed the Shows experience to make publishing and browsing feel editorial and intentional, not like another content feed.
Chat
Direct messaging between developers. We designed Chat to be clean and functional, the right place for conversations that start in public and need to continue in private.
Communities
Communities are the social backbone of Showcase. We designed the community experience to make joining, participating in, and managing communities feel cohesive with moderation tools and custom roles for creators.
Jobs
Finding the right opportunity on a network built for developers. We designed the Jobs section to make browsing, filtering, and applying feel native to how developers actually think about their next move.
Menu, Notifications, Dashboard, Settings, Popups
The supporting infrastructure of the mobile experience: navigation, alerts, account management, and contextual overlays all designed to be consistent and unobtrusive.
Marketing Site
The public-facing website that brings developers and companies in. We designed a marketing site that communicates Showcase's value clearly for both sides of the network developers looking to connect and companies looking to hire.
