Closure is a case management platform built for victim advocacy, designed to help lawyers manage their clients' cases with precision and give victims a way to stay informed, connected, and supported throughout the process. We came in to design the full product: the lawyer's web platform, the victim's mobile experience, and the website that brings people in.

Designed for the frontlines of victim advocacy. We designed a login experience that's clear and reassuring. This is a platform people rely on in high-stakes moments, so first contact with the product needed to set the right tone.

Fast access to anything across the platform. We designed global search to make finding a case, a client, or a document instant (no navigating through menus when time matters).

An operational overview of the entire practice. We designed the dashboard to give lawyers a read on active cases, upcoming deadlines, case activity, and practice health, all from a single screen that gets out of the way and shows you what you need.

Every active case, filterable and scannable. We designed the cases index to make it easy to triage a large caseload (sort by status, urgency, or client) and move quickly to wherever attention is needed.

Opening a new case is the start of every client relationship. We designed the create case flow to capture the right information in the right order (intake details, legal context, client information) without slowing down the moment when someone needs help.

The full picture of a single case: overview, details, legal, documents, and assessments. We designed case details to be the single source of truth for every case, with tabs that keep the right information accessible without cluttering the primary view.

Structured reporting for cases and practice performance. We designed reports to make generating and reading case documentation straightforward- the kind of output lawyers can send to clients, courts, or colleagues without additional formatting.

Tracking financial support allocated to victims across cases. We designed the funds section to make managing disbursements clear and auditable: who received what, when, and in what status.

Direct communication between lawyers and clients, built into the platform. We designed messaging to keep every conversation attached to its context (the case, the client, the moment) so nothing gets lost in email threads.

Deadlines, hearings, appointments, and follow-ups all in one view. We designed the calendar to give lawyers a clear picture of what's coming: colour-coded, filterable, and connected to the cases behind each event.

Repetitive tasks removed. We designed the automations layer to let lawyers configure workflows that run in the background (notifications, status changes, follow-ups), reducing the manual overhead of case administration.

A curated library of support materials, guides, and tools that lawyers can share with clients or reference themselves. We designed resources to be easy to browse and easy to surface at the right moment in a case.

Billable hours and case time, tracked accurately. We designed time tracking to make logging time fast and attaching it to the right case effortless, so nothing falls through the cracks at billing time.

Managing a team of advocates across a practice. We designed user management to give administrators control over who has access to what (roles, permissions, team views) without needing IT support to make changes.

For a victim, opening an app for the first time is a moment that requires trust. We designed the onboarding flow to be warm, clear, and thorough (create account, set up a PIN, enable Face ID, configure extra protection), with each step building confidence that this is a secure, supportive space.

The victim's daily view: case updates, messages from their lawyer, resources relevant to their situation, emergency contacts. We designed the home screen to make everything a victim needs accessible without requiring them to navigate a complex interface.

Direct communication with their lawyer, on mobile. We designed the messages experience to feel simple and safe, with conversations that stay in context, with a tone that matches what someone in a difficult situation actually needs from a support tool.
